Junior (2012-13): Saw action in 18 games in his third season on the Hilltop…averaged just less than five minutes of playing time per game…scored 17 points throughout the season…played 18 minutes against Oneonta (NY) (12/18/12) as he helped the Hilltoppers win their third-straight game at the 2012 Oahu Classic…he scored three points in that contest.
 
Sophomore (2011-12):  Played in 22 games in his second season for the Hilltoppers…averaged 7.2 points per game…was an offensive contributor scoring in double figures eight times throughout the year…he scored 19 points against Henderson State (12/18/11) for his best outing on the year.
 
Freshman (2010-11):  Saw action in 12 games for the Hilltoppers during his first year…recorded 1.9 points per game…his best game came against Texas A&M-Commerce (11/20/10) when he scored 15 points in 16 minutes of action connecting on 4-of-4 from three-point range.
 
Prep:  Played three seasons at Shenendehowa High School…made his high school record book by scoring a career total of 971 points which is fourth all-time…also in the top ten for individual scoring with 21.0 points per game…was the New York Section II player of the year and led his team to a fifth place finish in the state playoffs…helped his team win the Suburban Council Championship from 2007-2010.
 
Personal:  Matthew Brendon Miner was born on May 22, 1992…son of Brian and Cindy Miner of Clifton Park, N.Y.…has two siblings: Joe (22) and Michael (16)…currently studying finance at St. Edward’s with career hopes of becoming a CFO…his hobbies include watching the Knicks, Syracuse Orange, and the Yankees…his biggest athletic thrill was sinking the game-winning free throws with no time left during the 2011-2012 season.
