2016 (SOPHOMORE):

• Competed in four meets with a  season’s best 5K time of 21:49.99 at the Missouri Southern Stampede (9/17).

2015 (FRESHMAN):
Competed in six events for the Hilltoppers…had two top-20 finishes: 11^th at the Texas Lutheran Invitational (9/5) and 13^th at the Southwestern Invitational (10/16)…had best time (21:28) at the Missouri Southern Stampede (9/19).
 
PREP:
A three-time letterwinner for Gabe Cortez at Hondo High School...helped team to district championship twice in cross country and track and field...qualified for regionals twice in cross country and three times in track and field (triple jump)...selected as 2015 Track and Field MVP for Hondo High School...personal best time of 13:30...named academic all-district and academic all-state...member of the National Honor Society, FFA, UIL, and BPA...graduated 10th out of 126.

Andrea Nicole Theis was born on December 12, 1996...daughter of Karl and Mille Theis...has one sibling: Jacob …Majoring in Communications Catholic Studies with aspirations to go into youth ministry and missions…hobbies include: fitness, reading, and Netflix...getting a personal best at the regional meet is her biggest athletic thrill … Father, Karl, played baseball at Trinity University.
