Freshman (2011): Saw action in 21 sets over 13 matches for the Hilltoppers during her first year…she was a defensive specialist, recording 56 digs averaging 2.67 digs per set…had her best match against nationally-ranked West Texas A&M (9/30/11) where she tallied 12 digs in just two sets of action.
 
Club: Played her club volleyball for the Lawrence Mavs Invasion.
 
Prep: Competed three years at Lawrence High School…during her senior season, she was selected first-team all-sunflower league and to the all-area team, while recording 321 digs and had a passing efficiency of 2.34…reached the state playoffs…in her junior season, she was chosen first-team all-sunflower league and all-area team…led her team in total digs (360) and passing efficiency at 2.4 (season record)…helped her team reach the state playoffs…a member of the National Honor Society, Choir, and was selected to the A-B Honor Roll…was a member of the 2010 Mud Volleyball Championship team.
 
Personal: Kendyll Ann Severa was born on Dec. 28, 1992…daughter of Dan and Kathy Severa of Lawrence, Kan…has three siblings: Kieran, Kaela, and Kyleigh…plans to study business at St. Edward’s…enjoys singing in the choir on her free time…her biggest athletic thrill is going to state in 2009 and 2010 with the Lawrence High School volleyball team.
