Junior (2011-12): Compiled an 18-11 singles record playing primarily at the No. 2 position…won both of her singles matches in the Heartland Conference Tournament, helping lead the Hilltoppers to a conference title…also compiled a 21-7 record in doubles play…won 13 of 14 matches at one point during the season.
 
Sophomore (2010-11): Tallied a 7-18 singles record playing primarily at the No. 1 position…biggest singles victory of the season came in the Heartland Conference championship, defeating Natalie Gennisen, in straight sets…also compiled a 16-11 doubles record…ended the season, winning 11 of her last 13 doubles matches.
 
Freshman (2009-10): Played No. 1 singles as a true freshman, registering a 9-15 singles record…had a 3-1 record in Heartland Conference action…also had a 14-13 doubles record, winning nine of her first 11 matches.
 
Prep: Played four years at Cinco Ranch High School…helped her tennis team win the district championship for four straight years…became the first tennis player at Cinco Ranch to medal twice during state.
 
Personal: Angela Paige Rachel was born on Sept. 27, 1990…daughter of Ferman and Pamela of Katy, Texas…has one sibling: Jeremy (24)…currently studying psychology at St. Edward’s with career hopes of becoming a psychologist…her hobbies include running and eating…her biggest athletic thrill was making the Texas state playoffs and advancing to the state tournament.
