·      Heartland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll (Fall 2011, Spring 2012)
 
Freshman (2011-12): Was a perfect 4-0 in singles action, winning her bracket at the Texas Lutheran Invitational and capturing victory in her only Heartland Conference matchup versus Newman’s Carissa Villaflor…also compiled a 4-2 record in doubles action.
 
Prep: Played four years at Clear Creek High School…won the district championship in 2008-09 and 2009-10…was a regional qualifier during the 2008-09, 2009-10, and 2010-11 seasons…qualified for state in 2009-10 and 2010-11.
 
Personal: Samantha Rae Siegel was born on Feb. 16, 1993…daughter of Jeff and Haydee Siegel of League City, Texas…has two siblings: Andrew (25) and Skylan (4)…currently studying business management at St. Edward’s…she enjoys playing tennis…her biggest athletic thrill is winning the conference championship.
