Freshman (2014-15) (North Dakota): Appeared in 17 games for the Fighting Hawks, averaging 1.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per contest…shot 55 percent from the floor and 70 percent from the free-throw line…fourth on the team in blocked shots with nine.
 
Prep: Named to the All-District 27-4A First Team after averaging a double-double during his senior season at Lehman High School…posted a 10.1 scoring average and 10.3 rebounding average, while adding 1.8 blocks per game…earned the team's Loyal Lobo Award as a senior, and was one of 16 Texas Class 4A "Big Men" showcased by Texas Basketball Magazine…ranked 150^th best recruit in Texas after his senior season.
 
Personal: Kraig Isaiah Shields was born Feb. 6, 1996…son of Clayton Shields and Annria Berry…has two siblings: Brianna (13) and Christian (11)…plans to major in kinesiology at St. Edward’s…enjoys fishing, photography, and watching movies…biggest athletic thrill was playing against Minnesota on ESPN.
