St. Edward's University Athletics

Junior (2012-13): Appeared in 26 games for the third place Hilltoppers…started six games late in the season…averaged 4.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game…her best game came against Panhandle State (2/23/13) when she recorded 33 minutes of action and tallied 17 points and eight rebounds…finished second on the team shooting just over 52 percent from the field.
 
Sophomore (Blinn (Texas) JC) (2011-12): Appeared in 30 contests for the 21-10 Buccaneers…she averaged 6.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest…she also led the team in steals with 51…registered five double-doubles, with her best game coming against Tomball College, where she had 15 points and 14 rebounds…her team advanced to the regional semifinals that season as White was selected as honorable mention all-conference.
 
Freshman (Blinn (Texas) JC) (2010-11): Appeared in 30 games for the 18-13 Buccaneers…averaged 5.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game…best game came against Hill College where she tallied 14 points and 14 rebounds…her team reached the regional quarterfinals.
 
Prep:  A multi-sport athlete at Conroe High School…played basketball for four years…was awarded the district’s defensive MVP for her freshman season…earned all-district honorable mention her sophomore…was the district’s defensive MVP and first-team all-district selection her senior season.

Personal:  Valencia Danielle White was born on March 27, 1992…daughter of Carl and Gloria White of Conroe, Texas…has five siblings Roderick (38), Frank (33), Reggie (33) Ava (23), and Malcolm (20)…currently studying kinesiology at St. Edward’s…hopes to continue playing basketball after college…enjoys listening to music, relaxing, and playing games.
