Sophomore (2012-13): Appeared in 15 games for St. Edward’s during her sophomore season…averaged 7.1 minutes per contest and scored a total of 28 points…her best outing came against Northwood (12/4/12) when she scored seven points and grabbed three rebounds.
 
Freshman (2011-12): Saw action in 21 games for the Hilltoppers during her first year…contributed 11.7 minutes a game and averaged 2.4 points…added almost two rebounds a game…her best game came against Abilene Christian (12/6/11) when she recorded 20 minutes and eight points.
 
Prep: A multi-sport athlete at Bridgeport High School…during her freshman year she was awarded the newcomer of the year award for district 8-3A and Wise County…made the All-Wise County Team and won the team fighting heart award…she once again made the All-Wise County Team as well as being voted on the all-district first-team her sophomore season while her team was the undefeated district champs…during her junior year she was once again voted to first-team all-district…awarded the Wise County MVP and Wise County Female Athlete of the Year…also competed in volleyball and track and field…was the state silver medalist in the shot put her junior season…member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, Leadership West Wise, Spanish Club, Art Club, and the Frist United Methodist Church Youth Group.
 
Personal: Haley Dawn Meekins was born on Aug. 25, 1993…daughter of Donald and Traci Meekins of Bridgeport, Texas…has one sibling: Chris (25)…enjoys hanging out with friends and playing sports…other interests include being outside, going to the lake, camping, and enjoying a movie night…her biggest athletic thrill is scoring as time expired to tie the game and eventually winning in overtime to win the district title.
