Junior (2011-12): Played in 26 rounds of golf in her second year with St. Edward’s…recorded the two best scores on the year shooting a 68 and 69 in the UCO/Mahogany Classic and the Doc Housewright Invitational, respectively…the 68 equaled her own school record for lowest round, which she set in the previous year’s National Tournament…finished first at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic…other notable finishes include second place at the Lady Rattler Roundup, Doc Housewright Invitational, and Heartland Conference Tournament.
 
Sophomore (2010-11): In her first season with the Hilltoppers she played a total of 31 rounds…her best round came at the NCAA Division II National Championships when she shot a school-record 68 in the third round of action…finished first at the UCO/Mahogany Golf Classic…also finished first at the Lady Rattler Roundup…finished in the top three at the Drury University Fall Shootout, St. Edward’s Invitational, and the Midwestern State Invitational.
 
Freshman (Stephen F. Austin) (2009-10): Was on the golf team for one season under coach Trey Shroeder…named Most Valuable Player on the team.
 
Prep:  Played her high school golf at the Heritage Academy in South Carolina.
 
Personal:  Wallis Vaughan Spears was born on Sept. 19, 1990…daughter of Anna and Roy Spears of Kerrville, Texas…has three siblings: Jas (28), Alix (22), and Doodle (13)…currently studying criminology at St. Edward’s.
