Prep: Played four years of volleyball at Morton Ranch High School in Katy, Texas…named to the honorable mention all-district team in 2010 and to the second-team all-district in 2011…named to the 2012 all-tournament team for the San Marcos Volleyball Tournament...lettered one year in track…placed third in district in 300m hurdles…was apart of the Junior Ladies and Senior Women organizations…participated in orchestra.
 
Personal: Karina Nicole Gonzalez was born on Nov. 9, 1994…daughter of Gabino and Liz Gonzalez of Katy, Texas…has one sibling Brook (23)…plans to study environmental science with hopes of becoming an environmental scientist…her hobbies include playing volleyball, orchestra, and playing with animals…her biggest athletic thrill was being one of the top-16 teams at AAU Nationals when she was with the Texas Tornados.
