Sophomore (2011): Competed in 32 matches while starting 31 for the Hilltoppers…played 115 sets during the season…on a two-setter rotation, she earned a 6.93 assist per set average that gave her a total of 797 assists which was first on the team…recorded a 2.18 digs per set and totaled 251 digs.
 
Freshman (2010): Appeared in 27 matches while starting seven for the Hilltoppers…played in 75 sets throughout the year…recorded 137 digs for 1.83 digs per set…second on the team with 538 assists for 7.17 assists per set…logged 22 service aces during the year for an average of 0.29.
 
Club: Played for the Willowbrook Volleyball Club.
 
Prep: Played four years at The Woodlands High School…helped her team win consecutive district championships from 2006-09…during that time, she was the team’s most valuable player her freshman and sophomore seasons…named to the all-district and all-conference teams her sophomore through senior seasons…also named academic all-district during those years.


Personal: Mary Pauline McNamara was born on April 8, 1992…daughter of Maureen and Peter McNamara…has two siblings: Megan (25) and Molly (23)…studies communications at St. Edward’s…hopes to start a sports ministry…her hobbies include cooking and enjoying the outdoors…her biggest athletic thrill is tricking a blocker.
