DALLAS, Texas - Senior defender KATIE DONAHUE was named Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday. Donahue garnered the award for the week of Sept. 28 - Oct 4.

Donahue helped lead St. Edward's to a perfect 2-0 record for the week. The senior helped St. Edward's pitch two shutouts and allow only 10 shots between the two matches. In the victory over Oklahoma Christian, Donahue scored in the first minute of action. Against Rogers State, she assisted on two goals.
