VALENTINA MARTINEZ advanced all the way to the championship match of the consolation draw, finishing the day 1-1 and the tournament 4-2 in singles.
-The doubles team of
PAOLA CARPIO and
VANESSA CAMARA took the consolation doubles title by default, rounding out their tournament with a 4-1 record in doubles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-After advancing to the finals with an 8-4 win from Godland and Heinze from Western New Mexico, Carpio and Camara claimed a win by default over Porter and Xiao from Metro State to claim the title.
-Martinez opened her day with a win in the semifinals, 6-3, 6-0 over Lemmens from Newman. In the finals, she fell 6-2, 6-0, to Thibaudat from Cameron.
