Box Score MIDLAND, Texas - St. Edward's Men's Tennis made it a perfect 3-0 weekend with a 6-1 win over UT Permian Basin Sunday. 

SEU won the doubles point with wins by LUIS DIAZ and ANISH SRINIKETH at #1 (6-2) and ZAC ROBINSON and CHASE BARTLETT at #3, winning 6-3. 

GABRIEL ZUNIGA continued things into singles play with an easy 6-1, 6-1 win over Sanchez at #3. Diaz (#2) made quick work of Silva 6-2, 6-1 for the third point of the day while Sriniketh secured the match with a win at #1, defeating Stevens 6-2, 7-5. LOGAN BUIGNET (#5) and NICO MERCADO (#6) also secured wins in singles play to arrive at the 6-1 final. 

"We had the best, most complete day of the season today," said Coach Strecker. "The guys understood what today meant for the goals we have for this season and they showed up ready to go. It is fun when things start to fall into place. Having CHASE BARTLETT back in doubles has given us a boost in energy and we needed it. In singles we are definitely getting better and tougher on every match. I am looking forward to the next 4 weeks!"

The win improves SEU to 5-3 on the season. They return to action on March 5, facing Laredo College in Laredo, Texas.
