TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its national award winners on Tuesday.
CHASE BARTLETT earned the ITA Division II Senior Player of the Year, while
ANISH SRINIKETH was tabbed the ITA Player to Watch.
The duo also earned the same awards for the South Central region.
Bartlett, a native of Frisco, was named an All-American on the doubles and singles courts. He posted a 12-2 record in singles competition during the 2019-20 season. He also logged a 10-4 mark on the doubles courts and qualified for the ITA National Tournament last fall in singles action.
Meanwhile, Sriniketh, also collected All-America honors for doubles and singles play last month. The Katy native netted a 19-8 ledger in singles action and a 15-11 mark in doubles competition. Sriniketh advanced to the semifinals of last fall's national tournament in singles.
