Anish Sriniketh earned regional honors

Sriniketh named ITA Regional Rookie of the Year


TEMPE, Ariz. –  St. Edward's freshman ANISH SRINIKETH was named South Central Region Rookie of the Year, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced in a press release on Tuesday.

Sriniketh, a native of Katy, led the Hilltoppers with a 19-8 singles record during the 2018-19 campaign. He also accumulated 15 victories on the doubles courts.

In the latest ITA national polls, Sriniketh was ranked 22nd in singles play. He and Bartlett combined to make up the nation's 34th-ranked doubles team.
