KANSAS CITY, Mo. - St. Edward's graduate student
B.J. MAXWELL was announced Monday by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as a member of the All-District Second Team.
Maxwell, the LSC Newcomer of the Year and First Team selection, was fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 18.8 points per game while leading the Hilltoppers in the category. He was just one point shy of tying the SEU record for points in a game on January 3 at Midwestern State, scoring 47 points. He shot 47.5 percent from the floor and tied for the team high in blocks with 11.
St. Edward's season ended in the Lone Star Conference Championship game, falling to West Texas A&M, finishing the year with a 12-8 overall record.
