2016 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN):
• Made six appearances for SEU.
 
2015 (FRESHMAN)
• Redshirted the season.
 
PREP: A two-time letterwinner for Greg Battistella at Holy Cross School in New Orleans, Louisiana…started every game at shortstop junior and senior…batted .362 and .325 in junior and senior seasons, respectively…helped team to undefeated district championship as a junior, and a playoff appearance as senior…team captain for baseball and basketball teams…named all-district as a junior and academic all-state in baseball and basketball…also recognized as WWLTV and McDonald’s A+ Athlete…graduated as salutatorian and a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta fraternity.
 
PERSONAL: Matthew Parker DiSalvo was born on April 26, 1996…son of Dean and Deidre DiSalvo…has three siblings: Logan, Peyton, and Aidan…majoring in accounting at St. Edward’s with plans to become an accountant…hobbies include playing sports and hanging out with friends…turning an unassisted triple play to win the game is his biggest athletic thrill.
