2017 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR):
• Appeared in 21 games with 12 starts in the field and made three appearances out of the bullpen.
• Batted .359 with eight runs and seven RBI on one double and one home run.
• Held a 3.00 ERA with two strikeouts in three innings-pitched.
• Went 3-for-4 with two runs, three RBI and a home run against UAFS in the Heartland Tourney.
 
2016 (JUNIOR):
• Redshirted the season.
 
2015 MARYLAND-EASTERN SHORE (SOPHOMORE): Was the backup catcher but started 21 of the team's 49 games...went 11-for-66 with a double and two RBIs...threw out nine baserunners behind the plate while compiling an improved .983 fielding percentage...was starter Tanner Whiteman's personal catcher and caught both of the pitcher's one-hitters against Norfolk State.
 
2014 MARYLAND-EASTERN SHORE (FRESHMAN): Served as one of two catchers during his freshman season...finished the year with a .315 batting average, the third highest average on the team...also wound up with the second highest OBP at .439 with 10 walks and two hit by pitches...earned 17 hits over the season with three doubles and a homerun on April 26th at Coppin State...in that same game, Troy recorded a game-high three RBI...finished with a .970 fielding percentage while only committing two errors during the season.
 
PREP: Lettered in baseball and football at Bridgeport H.S....four-year member of baseball team and four-year member of football team...All-West Virginia State First-Team selection in baseball (2013)...Academic Athlete of the Year (2013)...All-West Virginia State Second-Team selection in football (2012)...member of National Honor Sociey (2012-13).
 
PERSONAL: Troy Evan Anderson was born on October 11, 1994 in Columbus, Ohio...son of Travis and Tina Anderson...has one brother, Trevor...majoring in biology...personal best sports moment is having six RBI, hitting three-run homer and having bases clearing double against Martinsburg as a senior...lists his parents as the people that have influenced him the most...plans to go to medical school and specialize in orthopedics…hobbies outside of sports include playing the guitar.
