2016 (SENIOR):
• Redshirted the season
 
2015 (JUNIOR): Appeared and started in 17 matches on the season, totaling 1,328 minutes…assisted on a goal versus St. Mary’s (11/5) for his only point of the season…helped lead a defense that allowed just 0.48 goals per contest…the defense also tallied 10 shutouts during the year.
 
2014 (SOPHOMORE): Started all 20 matches at defender for the Hilltoppers totaling 1,564 minutes of action…scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Oklahoma Christian (10/6)…assisted on goals in victories over Midwestern State (10/18) and in the Heartland Conference Tournament Championship match versus Newman (11/9).
 
2013 (FRESHMAN): In his freshman year he played in 15 games for the Hilltoppers…recorded two goals and five assists over the season…one of his assists came during a match against St. Mary’s (11/4) that helped to lift the Hilltoppers to a 3-2 victory…he tallied nine points for the year.
 
PREP: Lettered two seasons at Keller High School…academically, he was a Duke Scholar and a part of the National Honor Society…a part of the Green Cord Program at Keller High School…also a part of the Honor Roll, the DECA Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)…helped lead club team (Andromeda FC USSF Academy) three-straight Dallas Cup Championships (2006-08)…helped lead two other club teams (Fort Worth Football Club and Solar Red ’95) to one state championship each.
 
PERSONAL: Nate Jeffrey Coons was born on May 11, 1995…son of Jeffrey and Traci Coons of Keller, Texas…has two siblings: Kyli (23) and Bradley (18)…majoring in business finance…his hobbies include bowling, playing sports and hanging out with his friends and family.
