Junior (2012): Started in all 21 matches for the Hilltoppers…recorded 1,245 minutes during the season…had 33 points on 13 goals and seven assists…scored two or more goals on four occasions… she recorded a hat trick against Oklahoma Christian (10/13)…scored two goals against UT-Permian Basin (9/20), McMurry (9/22), and Newman (10/11)…had five game-winning goals…was first on the team with 64 shots…29 of them reached the goal for a SOG% of .453.
 
Sophomore (2011): Started in all 19 matches for the Hilltoppers…recorded 1,346 minutes during her second season…had a team-high 35 points on 13 goals and nine assists…her best game came against St. Mary’s (10/27/11) when she recorded a hat trick…she followed that game up with an additional two goals against TAMU-International (10/29/11)…third all-time in season records with six game-winning goals…was second on the team with 59 shots…33 of them reached the goal for a SOG% of .569…the 33 shots on goal is fifth all-time in the record books.
 
Freshman (2010): Started in all 21 matches for the Hilltoppers during her first season…recorded a total of 1,432 minutes…was tied for second with the team in points with 25…tallied seven goals and 11 assists…had a stretch of three-straight matches with a goal from (11/30/11 – 10/9/11)…totaled 44 shots with 24 reaching the goal for a SOG% of .545.

Club: Played her club soccer for the Albion Hurricanes.

Prep: Played four years of soccer at Katy Taylor…in 2008 she was selected second-team all-district…during the 2009 and 2010 season she earned a sport on the all-district first-team…in 2010 she was named the district’s most valuable player.

Personal: Rachel Anne Murray was born on May 18, 1992…daughter of Maggie and Walt Murray of Katy, Texas…has two siblings: Nicole (21) and Boo (13)…currently studying Biology and has career hopes of becoming a health professional…a part of the Campus Ministry at St. Edward’s…her hobbies include traveling, reading, watching Netflix, cooking, and exploring Austin…her biggest athletic thrill was scoring the first goal of the round of 16 during her freshman year at St. Edward’s.
