Prep: Lettered four years at Dripping Springs High School…helped her team go undefeated and capture the district and area championships…in her sophomore season, her team repeated as area champions and won the sectional championship...again won the district and sectional championship in 2001…in her final season, helped her team to a perfect season including a district, area, sectional, and regional championship…awarded a spot on the all-district first-team in 2012, 2013… named to the academic all-district team in 2011-13…named to the Academic All-State team in 2013…graduated Cum Laude and on the Distinguished Academic Plan.
 
Personal: Maggie Barnes was born on Nov. 28, 1994…daughter of Ron and Mimi Barnes od Dripping Springs, Texas… has one sibling: Sam (21)…plans to study biology at St. Edward’s…her hobbies include wakeboarding at Lake Travis, hiking, eating food, playing board games and Ping-Pong, reading medical journals and being a barista at Starbucks…also enjoys watching Grey’s Anatomy and movies on Netflix, …her biggest athletic thrill is winning first place at her high school tournament during her senior season.
