Freshman (2012): Redshirted the season.
 
Club: Played for the Challenge ‘94 club team in Houston, Texas for eight years…won the South Texas State Championship four times (2006, 2007, 2009, 2011)…competed in the regional quarterfinals, and made an appearance in the ECNL Nationals in 2011…earned a spot on the 2007 South Texas All-State Team.

Prep: Lettered four years at Cypress Creek High School…scored six goals during the 2009 season…achieved academic all-district honors as well as helping her team to win the district championship in 2009…earned the academic all-district award…recorded eight goals and seven assists during the 2010 season…earned first-team all-district honors, and the Lady Highlander Cup MVP…awarded the 2010 academic all-district award…notched three goals and an assist during the 2011 campaign…helped her team to a district championship and playoff berth…once again named to the academic all-district team for the third consecutive year…member of National Honor Society, Student Council and Young Life.
 
Personal: Rachael Catherin Swerdon was born on Sept. 29, 1993…daughter of Bob and Sylvia Swerdon of Houston, Texas…has one sibling: Kelly (24)…plans to study marketing at St. Edward’s…enjoys long boarding and skim boarding…her biggest athletic thrill is heading the ball across the goal off a cornerkick for her teammate to score during the final 10 seconds of the ECNL Nationals.
