2015 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 15 matches, while making three starts and compiling 473 minutes of action…tallied two goals and two assists off of 11 shots…scored goals against Eastern New Mexico (9/27) and St. Mary’s (11/1).
 
2014 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 17 matches totaling 513 minutes of work…registered 11 shots with three shots on goal.
 
PREP: Played striker for Richard King High School in Corpus Christi…named captain of the varsity soccer team…led the Coastal Bend region with 31 assists in the 2012-2013 season…helped his team to become district champions and win first-ever Rebel Cup Tournament...voted first team all-district, first team all-region, Gulf Coast Classic Best Attacker…received both team and coach’s MVP and most dedicated award… excelled in school, earning academic all-state, academic excellence award and a nomination for best proposal…member of the National Honor Society, Chemistry Club, National Hispanic Institute for Great Debate and Tutoring on Wheels Program…helped his club team (Coastal Bend Dynamo) qualify for the Division I National Cup…participated in Manchester United soccer camp and was named best all-around camper twice.
 
PERSONAL: Julian Alberto Sanchez was born on July 16, 1995…son of Julian and Claudia Sanchez of Corpus Christi, Texas…has one sibling: Sabrina…majoring in biology…his hobbies include ping-pong, research and helping people…his biggest athletic thrill is the combined success of his soccer career thus far.
