St. Edward's University Athletics

Sophomore 2013-14 (Collin County Community College): Started all 32 games and averaged 32.3 minutes per game…tallied 11.2 points and 4.6 assists per game during the 2013-14 campaign…added 3.0 steals and 2.9 rebounds per game…helped team to NJCAA Regional Tournament…named to the 2014 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Community College Coaches’ All-America Team as an Honorable Mention honoree…also named to the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Second-Team.
 
Freshman 2012-13 (Collin County Community College): Appeared in 29 games, averaging 5.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest…had a season-high 13 points in a win over Ranger JC…helped lead team to second round of NJCAA Regional Tournament.
 
Prep: Lettered all four years at Royse City High School… named to the all-district first-team during the 2008-09 season…defensive player of the year in 2009-10 and was named district MVP in 2011-12.

Personal: Tayler Maegan Young was born on June 24, 1994…daughter of Terry and Carol Young of Royse City, Texas…has one sibling: Sean (23)…plans to study speech pathology with hopes of working with children after graduation…her hobbies include fishing, wake boarding, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.
