Junior (2014): Finished the season with a 19-12 record with one save….started 31 games while making four relief appearances…broke the school record for 30 complete games…pitched in 216 innings which was good for fourth most in school history for a single season…recorded six shutouts which has her tied for sixth most for a single season…her 201 strikeouts were fifth-best in school history…struck out a season high 12 batters against Incarnate Word (3/11)…tossed a one-hit shutout in the Heartland Conference Tournament against Texas A&M-International to help the Hilltoppers reach the championship game (5/2).
 
Sophomore (2013): The all-region sophomore pitcher had a season to remember in her second season at St. Edward’s…appeared in 35 games while making 32 starts; most in the Heartland Conference…finished second in the conference with 23 wins…pitched a conference best 215 innings and struck out 237 batters; also a conference best…came in one relief and had one save…against TAMU-International (04/12) and tossed a no-hitter…two days later, she pitched a perfect game against #2 West Texas A&M (04/14)…defeated Angelo State (05/12), 12-4, to help the Hilltoppers advance to the NCAA South Central Super Regional.
 
Freshman (2012): Appeared in 24 games and started 20 for the Hilltoppers as a pitcher…her overall record was 13-8…she pitched a total of 133.2 innings while giving up 110 hits…she struck out 98 batters…her best game came against Ohio Dominican (03/12) when she pitched a complete-game shutout and struck out 11 batters…she followed up her performance by striking out nine batters the following game against Texas A&M-International (03/16)…threw a four-hit shutout against rival St. Mary’s in the Heartland Conference Tournament Championship game.
 
Prep:  Played four years of softball at Willis High School…her sophomore season she was named to the all-district first-team, and was awarded the team MVP…she was also awarded academic all-district…during that season she led her team to its first playoff appearance since 2002…her junior year she was named to the all-county first-team and won the district 18-4A MVP…during that season she helped her team to a #7 ranking in the state…made the second round of the playoffs…during her senior season, she repeated as the district MVP and team MVP…named the Montgomery County Pitcher of the year…named to the all-state first-team…led her team to the second round of the playoffs…ranked fourth in the state…broke the school record for ERA, strikeouts, wins, overall record, and most starts during her high school career.
 
Personal: Sarah Elizabeth Debrow was born on Dec. 31, 1992…daughter of John and Patti Debrow of Willis, Texas…has two siblings: Mary (19) and Emily (17)…currently studying communications at St. Edward’s with a career goal of working for a corporation as its public relations manager…she enjoys spending her free time outdoors…her biggest athletic thrill was winning the conference tournament as a freshman at St. Edward’s.
