• Appeared in three games out of the bullpen for the Hilltoppers.
• Posted a 4.50 ERA with one strikeout in 2.0 innings-pitched.
• Faced six batters and held opponents to an average of .167.
• Pitched one inning of no-hit, shutout baseball against Missouri S&T.
 
2016 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in six games out of the bullpen…tallied a perfect 0.00 ERA in 6.0 innings of work…struck out eight batters while holding batters to a .095 batting average against.
 
PREP: A two-time varsity letterwinner for head coach Chris Payne at Dripping Springs High School…went 9-3 with a 1.14 ERA in 2015 with 95 strikeouts in 64.1 innings of work…named academic all-district in 2014 and 2015, and first-team all-district in 2015…appeared in the 2015 Austin-Area All Star Game at Dell Diamond…helped team to a district title and advanced to the region IV quarterfinals in 2015…graduated Cum Laude as a Distinguished Service awardwinner.
 
PERSONAL: Evan Kyle Tubbs was born on Aug. 21, 1997…son of Jimmy and Marchele Tubbs…has one sibling: Collin… majoring in economics with a minor in math at St. Edward’s…hobbies include: fishing, wakeboarding, and golf…biggest athletic thrill is throwing a complete-game one-hitter against Cedar Park.
