2017 (JUNIOR):
• Went 0-3 with a 10.61 ERA in eight relief appearances for the Hilltoppers.
• Recorded one save in 9.1 innings-pitched with five strikeouts and just two walks.
• Pitched one shutout inning with one strikeout on three occasions.
 
2016 TEMPLE JC (SOPHOMORE): Played for head coach Craig McMurtry at Temple College…appeared in 16 games, going 2-0 with two saves, while striking out 17 batters in 21.0 innings of work.
 
2015 TEMPLE JC (FRESHMAN): Played for head coach Craig McMurtry at Temple College…appeared in 16 games in relief, compiling 21.1 innings or work…was 3-0 with eight saves while striking out 22 batters…named second-team all-conference.
 
PREP: Was homeschooled and won State Tournament in Home School Athletic Association his senior season.

PERSONAL: Josiah David Chupik was born March 19, 1996…son of Russell and Connie Chupik…has nine siblings: Elizabeth, Esther, Jacob, Jeremiah, Jon, Joseph, Joshua, Rachel and Rebekah…plans to major in business management at St. Edward’s…enjoys ranching and playing volleyball…biggest athletic thrill was saving a game his sophomore season versus Hill JC.
