2017 (SOPHOMORE):
• Went 3-3 in 15 appearances and eight starts for the Hilltoppers.
• Held a 2.22 ERA with 53 strikeouts in 52.2 innings-pitched.
• Pitched 7.2 innings of four-hit, one-run baseball in the Heartland Tourney Championship vs. UAFS.
 
2016 HOUSTON (FRESHMAN): Made 12 appearances out of the bullpen for head coach Todd Whitting…registered a 1.35 ERA in 13.1 innings of work, while holding batters to a .208 average at the plate.
 
PREP: Lettered two seasons for Bo Hernandez at Klein Oak and two seasons for Matt White at Riverside High School…helped team to playoffs three times, including a state runner-up finish his freshman season…tossed a one-hitter his senior season, a no-hitter his sophomore season and a perfect game his freshman season…member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

PERSONAL: Tanner Price Lawson was born Oct. 25, 1996…son of Ken and Wendy Lawson…has two siblings: Linzi and Scotti…plans to major in kinesiology at St. Edward’s…enjoys playing beach volleyball…biggest athletic thrill was throwing a perfect game his freshman year of high school.
