Freshman (2012): During her first season with the Hilltoppers she played in 16 matches with one start against Texas A&M-International (10/6)…played in a total of 535 minutes…recorded eight shots on the year with two on goal…totaled five points on the year…scored one goal on the year against Texas A&M-International (10/6)…recorded three assists.
 
Club: Last played club soccer for the American Eagles Soccer Club…leading scorer for the Tornadoes during the 2007 campaign…lead the Tornadoes in assists from 2006-09…helped Lake Highlands win a DII Championship.

Prep: Lettered four years and started three at Grapevine High School…helped her team to a playoff berth during the 2009 season…earned second-team all-district honors during 2010…led her team in assists in 2011…was awarded first-team all-district honors…was named to the ODP North Texas State team in 2010 and 2011…guided her team to win the district championship and make an appearance in the Texas State Semifinals…member of the Best Buddies program, Spanish Club, Student Council, National Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society…she was also an AP Scholar with honors.

Personal: Amanda Catherine Tabone was born on Feb. 11. 1993…daughter of George and Kate Tabone of Grapevine, Texas…plans to follow her father’s footsteps and study biology and become a veterinarian…enjoys playing soccer, volunteering, running, and spending time with friends and family…her biggest athletic thrill was defeating the number one team in the nation during her teams 2011 playoff run.
