Freshman (2012): During her first season with the Hilltoppers she played in 21 matches while starting thirteen of them …played in a total of 1,014 minutes…recorded three total shots on the year with one on goal against Newman (9/27).
 
Club: Competed on the Dallas Texans Red North Football Club Team.

Prep: Lettered all four years on the soccer team at McKinney High School…helped her team to two-consecutive district championships in 2009-10…earned second-team all-district and the most improved player award in 2010…first-team all-district and defensive player of the year in 2011…voted most valuable player in 2012 during the Dr. Pink Tournament…member of the National Honor Society, the Interact Club, the Rotary Club, and the National Society of High School Scholars.

Personal: Nicole Lauren Gostic was born on November 29, 1993…daughter of Gerard and Julie Gostic of McKinney, Texas…has one sibling: Jenna (23)…will study pre-med on the Hilltop and hopes to have a successful career researching and learning about genetics…enjoys playing soccer and many other sports…also reads during her spare time and is an animal lover…her biggest athletic thrill is being a part of the varsity squad as a freshman as well as winning close games when time was a factor.
