LAUREN HELLER continued the brilliant start to her St. Edward's career, as she tallied two more goals to lead the third-ranked Hilltoppers to a 7-0 victory over Oklahoma Christian.
The Heartland Conference leading Hilltoppers got things started in the fifth minute when
RACHEL MURRAY notched her sixth goal of the season off of a pass from
OLIVIA COLLADO. Then it was Heller who added to the Hilltopper lead with goals in the 13
th minute and the 19
th minute for her sixth and seventh goals of the season.
TAYLOR WISEMAN assisted on both goals.
TAYLOR SETTECERRI scored the final goal of the half for St. Edward's (9-0) in the 30
th minute on an assist from both Murray and
EMILY WRIGHT. The Hilltoppers only outshot Oklahoma Christian, 9-3, but six of the nine shots were on goal by St. Edward's.
In the second half,
MIKAYLA ENGEL wasted no time, as she scored an unassisted goal in the 53
rd minute. In the 62
nd minute, the Hilltoppers gained a penalty kick.
ADRIANNA FERRARI took the kick and her attempt was saved, but her follow-up shot did not miss as she scored her first goal of the season.
KELLY DAVIS capped off the scoring in the 70
th minute, when she scored her third goal of the season on a pass from
AMANDA TABONE.
DANIELLE LICARIONE picked up her ninth win of the season as she made two saves.

Nick Cowell had this to say about his team's performance, “It was important for us to use the depth of our team today. We have five matches on the road in nine days, which is a tough challenge. I was very happy with the intensity and offensive production in the second half.”
The Hilltoppers will be back in action on the road against Heartland Conference rival Dallas Baptist on Monday. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. in Dallas, Texas. Live stats will be available on the Patriot Website.
