Ransom LaLonde
Box Score The Basics
-Score: St. Edward's 13, Oklahoma Christian 4
-Records: St. Edward's 2-1: Oklahoma Christian 1-1
-Location: Austin, Texas (Lucian-Hamilton Field)

How It Happened
-St. Edward's got on the board early in the second inning when C.J. Manning produced a two-RBI single with two outs.
-After Oklahoma Christian scored an unearned run in the third inning, the Hilltoppers pushed across four runs in the bottom of the inning. They did it all with just one hit as Eagle starting pitcher Cale Coshow hit four batters and walked two more.
-Oklahoma Christian would not go away quietly as they scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning.
-St. Edward's responded with four more runs in the bottom of the fourth. MARSHALL BURFORD had the big hit with a bases-clearing double.
-The Hilltoppers added three runs in the eighth for good measure.

Beyond the Box Score
-The victory gives St. Edward's three-straight wins after falling in the season opener.
-RANSOM LALONDE tied a school record for being hit by pitch three times in one game. It was the fifth time it has happened in St. Edward's history. The last time was in 2010, when Chandler Mosser was plunked thrice by Lincoln.
