-St. Edward's got started on the right foot, winning all three doubles points. SASHA KHADZHYAN and FLORENCE BOINON teamed up at number one doubles and held off Newman's Kirstie Symon and Taylor Jordan, 8-7.
-In singles play, the Hilltoppers lost at the top two spots but showed their depth by winning at the other four spots very easily.
