How It Happened
-St. Edward's fell behind early, losing two of the three doubles matches. PAIGE RACHEL and RAFAELA HAEGELE held on to win at number two doubles, winning in a tiebreaker, 9-8.
-In singles play, the Hilltoppers rallied to win four of the six matches and take the team match, 5-4. Francesca Chahor and KATHERINE SULLIVAN swept their singles matches in straight sets at the number five and six positions. Rachel won her match at the number two position in three sets, while Haegele took down her opponent at the number four spot, in a third-set tiebreaker.
