FAITH ROBERTS.
After Panhandle State tied the game at one at the top of the second inning, St. Edward's regained the lead 2-1 in the bottom of the inning. Olson scored her second run of the game when
LAUREN BRODE singled to left field.
-LAURA ALVARADO was called in as a pinch runner in the third inning and she stole third base. On the next pitch Briana Bozon flied out to center field and Alvarado tagged up and scored. The Hilltoppers led 3-1.
-ALLY VALDEZ got on base in the sixth inning after she drew her 28
th walk of the season. She then scored the first run of the inning when Roberts doubled to left center. Roberts crossed home plate courtesy a
MARISA BOGART single to left center.
-St. Edward's completed the sweep of Panhandle State, winning the game 5-1.
