St. Edward's University Athletics

Junior (2012): In her third season on the team, she appeared in 31 games while starting 25…she had a .333 batting average and a .594 slugging percentage…she scored eight runs on 23 hits…she led the team with four homeruns, which led to 13 RBI.
 
Sophomore (2011): In her second season on the Hilltop, she appeared in 44 games while starting 23…she contributed six runs on 21 hits…finished the season with a .253 batting average and a .422 slugging percentage…added two homeruns and brought in 12 runs.
 
Freshman (2010): Appeared in 33 games while starting five for the Hilltoppers…had a .361 batting average and a .611 slugging percentage…scored six runs off of 13 hits…hit three homeruns on the season.
 
Prep: Played four years of softball at MacArthur High School…named to the all-district first-team for all four years…she recorded the highest batting average on the team with a .475 during the 2009 season.
 
Personal: Alejandria Elisabeth Valdez was born on July 31, 1991…daughter of Lou and Jackie Valdez of San Antonio, Texas…has one sibling: Aaron Valdez (13)…currently studying kinesiology at St. Edward’s with career hopes of becoming a softball coach…she enjoys listening to music…her biggest athletic thrill was beating Smithson Valley High School during her senior year.
