Junior (2012): In her third season with St. Edward’s she saw action in 38 games while starting in 32…finished the season with a .247 batting average and a .312 slugging percentage…had 19 hits with two doubles and a homerun…recorded nine RBI’s…her best game of the season came against St. Mary’s (04/27) when she had two hits for two RBI’s…she also scored a run during the game…hit her only home run of the season versus Angelo State (5/6) in the NCAA Regional.
 
Sophomore (2011): In her second year with the Hilltoppers she saw action in 45 games while starting 41…had a batting average of .330 and a slugging percentage of .443…had 32 hits with six doubles, one triple, and a homerun…tallied 13 RBI’s for the year…her best performance of the year came against Incarnate Word (02/18) when she brought in two runs on two hits.
 
Freshman (2010): Played and started in 54 games during her first season as a Hilltopper…had a batting average of .293 on the season…recorded 39 hits with eight doubles, one triple, and three homeruns…brought in 20 runs for the year…finished the season with a .436 slugging percentage…one of her key games came against UT-Permian Basin (03/13) by having two hits and scoring one run…she tallied three RBI’s during the game.
 
Prep:  Played four years of softball at Belton High School…while at Belton she made the all-district first-team all four years…in 2007 her batting average was .425 and was named to all-state first-team…in 2008 she was named offensive player of the year…she was inducted into the Belton High School Wall of Honor…that season her batting average was .375…also lettered in basketball and volleyball.
 
Personal: Brianna Marie Bozon was born on Oct. 10, 1990…daughter of Carl and Barbara Bozon of Belton, Texas…has one sibling: Brandon (25)…currently studying kinesiology with career hopes of going to graduate school and becoming a certified public accountant…her hobbies include hiking, biking, stand-up paddle boarding, and making puzzles…her biggest athletic thrill is earning a spot on the Heartland Conference all-tournament team…right behind that was a hitting a walk-off homerun against Angelo State during her freshman year.
