Box Score AUSTIN, Texas – The #3 St. Edward's baseball team racked up 22 runs in a doubleheader sweep over Colorado Christian Saturday afternoon at Lucian-Hamilton Field. The Hilltoppers bested the Cougars, 8-2 in the opener and poured it on in the second game for a run-rule 14-3 victory.
In game one, it was the
DYLAN WATTS show. The reigning Heartland Conference Freshman of the Year went 3-for-4 with a double, two singles and six RBI. In the fifth inning, with score just 2-0 in favor of St. Edward's (6-4), Watts delivered a bases-clearing double to the gap in right field to blow the game wide open.

BOBBY SCOTT (2-0) was outstanding, allowing just one run on three hits while walking three and striking out six in five innings of work for his second win of the season.
In game two, St. Edward's scored in every inning on its way to 14 runs off of 12 hits.
RANSOM LALONDE had the big game, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.
DALTON BROWN picked up the win on the mound for St. Edward's, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits, while walking three and striking out seven in five innings of work.
St. Edward's will be back in action Wednesday when they travel to take on UH-Victoria. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. at Riverside Stadium, in Victoria, Texas. Live stats will be available on the Jaguar Athletic Website.
