Live StatsLive VideoGame NotesGRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The seventh-ranked St. Edward's Baseball team will open up its title defense Thursday afternoon as they take on Texas A&M-Kingsville at 12:00 p.m. MST in the first round of the 2014 NCAA DII South Central Regional Tournament at Sam Suplizio Field.
The Hilltoppers (39-14) are making their third-straight appearance in the regional with their 2014 bid. St. Edward's won last year's tournament in Kingsville, Texas, going 4-1, on its way to a spot in the DII World Series. They are looking to get back to Cary, N.C. for the second time in school history and improve on their third-place finish.

Rob Penders is not only looking for a win to advance in the winner's bracket, but also win No. 300 in his career at St. Edward's. He holds a 299-147 (.670) record.
The game will feature FREE live video and stats at the links listed above. The tournament runs from Thursday until Sunday, and is hosted by Colorado Mesa University. West Texas A&M, Tarleton State and New Mexico Highlands are also in the double-elimination tourney.
