The No. 3 singles matched finished with a victory for Haegele as her opponent retired. Haegele was leading Dimitrovska prior to their coach calling the match as the Javelinas had to immediately play the University of Central Oklahoma in a neutral-site matchup.
Head Coach Kendall Brooks spoke highly of her team's effort through the very windy and cold conditions, "I thought we played well through some relatively poor conditions. We never lost focus and were very consistent through our doubles matches. I think the true test is making sure you play your game and execute. To win five in a row is nice and we are looking to carry that momentum into tomorrow's match."
The Hilltoppers will host the University of Central Oklahoma tomorrow afternoon. First serve is expected to start at 2:00 p.m.
