SEU TOP PERFORMERS
-VALENTINA MARTINEZ finished her weekend a combined 3-2 with two wins in a singles and a 1-1 record in doubles.
-ELISA GUILLEN surrendered only four games in her two singles victories. She also went 2-1 in doubles with the bronze in flight B.
-VANESSA CAMARA opened 2016 with a 2-1 singles record to help SEU finish over .500.
-After setting the single-season records for doubles wins last season, LAURA GALVAN collected the flight A championship.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
-In flight A, Galvan won her first match before benefitting from a walkover and an injury retirement.
-Newcomer BETH HAYWARD also won her opening match before dropping her next two.
-MARISSA WILLIAMS, Guillen, PAOLA CARPIO, and Camara all also won their first-round matchups.
-Doubles proved to be an opportunity to gain valuable experience and teams exchanged matchups and experimented with different teammates.
