AUSTIN – The St. Edward's baseball series against Arkansas-Fort Smith has been moved up due to impending inclement weather, head coach Rob Penders announced on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers and Lions will play a doubleheader beginning at 1:30 p.m. Thursday and then close out the Heartland Conference series at 1 p.m. Friday at Lucian-Hamilton Field.
St. Edward's (15-17, 3-3 HC) has won three of its last four games, including a series win at Rogers State last weekend.
Meanwhile, Arkansas-Fort Smith (15-13, 2-4 HC) has split its last four outings. The Lions took two of three at St. Mary's last weekend and dropped a 9-3 decision at Arkansas-Monticello on Tuesday.
