AUSTIN, Texas – St. Edward's University Athletics announces the launch of a new scholarship fundraising drive, "Unleash the Herd–Ignite the Future." 
 
Each program will run a two-week fundraising campaign. Proceeds will go directly toward athletic scholarships for each program. Women's Basketball and Volleyball launch the first fundraising campaigns on Friday, Feb. 15; the final campaigns will wrap up on March 15.

"It's an exciting time of investment and growth for St. Edward's Athletics. University leadership has elevated us as a cornerstone to its strategic plan and invested in facility upgrades, new programs, and more," St. Edward's Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Jim Sarra says. "We're asking our Hilltop community to keep the momentum going by contributing where it will help most: providing scholarship opportunities to strengthen and grow our student-athlete community."
