St. Edward's baseball's TREVOR SEBEK, JAKUB RAYFIELD, LANCE LITTLE, GEORGE HETTRICK, and CARLO FIGUEROA were recognized by the College Sports Communicators, earning Academic All-District Honors.
Sebek led the Hilltoppers academically, earning his second consecutive Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team and St. Edward's Athletics men's Emma Lou Linn Outstanding Scholar award for the highest cumulative GPA amongst graduating seniors. Little also earned LSC All-Academic Team honors.
Each institution's sports information office makes up to five Academic All-District nominations. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and have either participated in 90 percent of their team's games or started in at least 66 percent of the season's games. Pitchers must have at least 17 appearances or pitched at least 35 innings.
