AUSTIN, Texas – St. Edward's Baseball earned the
American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, the ABCA announced on Wednesday.
The award recognizes ABCA member teams from all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year. This year, 440 college programs and nearly 300 high school programs were recognized for their outstanding academic achievement.
St. Edward's baseball posted a 3.28 Team GPA in the spring of 2025, and 33 players on the Lone Star Conference Honor Roll, which requires a minimum 3.3 GPA. Additionally,
LANCE LITTLE and
TREVOR SEBEK also earned LSC All-Academic Team honors, with Sebek earning the 2025 men's Emma Lou Linn Outstanding Student-Athlete award for the graduating senior with the highest cumulative GPA.
