ABCA Ranks SEU No. 21 in Division II Baseball

The American Baseball Coaches Association released its latest NCAA Division II Baseball Polls, moving St. Edward's up from No. 26 to 21. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association also ranked St. Edward's fourth in its South Central Region polls, and D2Baseball ranked St. Ed's No. 24 in its national poll. 
 
St. Edward's is coming off a 3-1 series victory over Lubbock Christian, sweeping the final three games. CONNOR COX broke a school record and tied the Lone Star Conference record for most doubles in a game, recording four in an 18-11 win. 
 
The Hilltoppers lead the nation in walks and ranks second in the LSC in home runs (44) and stolen bases (70). KOBE JARAMILLO is fourth in the LSC in ERA (2.64) and leads the league in strikeouts (71), good for sixth nationally. 
 
St. Edward's travels to face conference leader Angelo State. D2 Baseball ranks Angelo State as the top team in Division II, and the ABCA has the Rams second.
