The American Baseball Coaches Association released its latest NCAA Division II National Rankings, listing St. Edward's No. 21 nationwide.
St. Edward's is 36-21 coming off a deep run in the Lone Star Conference Championships, where the Hilltoppers defeated No. 9-ranked UT Tyler Patriots and Lubbock Christian before falling short against No. 2-ranked Angelo State in the LSC Championship game.
The Hilltoppers earned the fourth seed in the NCAA South Central Regional. They will face fifth-seed Lubbock Christian in San Angelo on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the double-elimination round hosted by top-seeded Angelo State.
