The American Baseball Coaches Association announced its 2025 All-Region Teams, naming St. Edward's
CONNOR COX and
KOBE JARAMILLO to its South Central First and Second Teams.
Cox earned All-Region First Team as a utility player, splitting time between first base, left field, and designated hitter, and delivering one of the best-hitting seasons in St. Edward's history. Cox set St. Edward's baseball single-season records with 98 hits and 75 RBI. His .419 batting average is the sixth-best season, his 63 runs rank fifth, and his 156 total bases and 22 doubles rank second.
He also earned All-LSC First Team honors, and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named him an All-American.
Jaramillo earned All-Region Second Team after posting a 10-2 season. Jaramillo recorded a 3.18 ERA over 93.1 innings, striking out 93 hitters to only 31 walks and limiting opponents to a .236 batting average in an All-LSC First Team season.
