| By:
KOBE JARAMILLO and CONNOR COX highlighted a group of seven St. Edward's baseball players to earn All-Conference, All-Defensive, or All-Academic Team awards, the Lone Star Conference announced during baseball's year-end banquet.

Jaramillo and Cox earned All-LSC First Team honors, and MARCO BARRERA, GEORGE HETTRICK, and TRAVIS CHESTNUT are All-LSC Third Team selections. Barrera also made the All-Defensive Team, and LANCE LITTLE and TREVOR SEBEK earned All-Academic Team honors.

St. Edward's ace, Jaramillo, led the LSC in strikeouts (87) and is second in wins (eight). The right-hander from Bishop, Texas, posted an 8-2 record with a 3.27 ERA in 77 innings. He won the LSC Pitcher of the Week Award in Week 1.

Cox alternated between first base, designated hitter, and left field, and hit the ball everywhere, batting .412 (84-for-204) with 20 doubles, 12 home runs, 69 RBI, and 55 runs scored for a .686 slugging percentage. Cox broke the St. Edward's and tied the LSC record for most doubles in a game, and ranks eighth in the LSC in batting average, second in doubles, fourth in hits, fifth in home runs, and second in RBI.

Hettrick posted a 6-4 record as the Hilltoppers' no. 2 starter, throwing four complete games with a 5.17 ERA. He has 62 strikeouts to 33 walks in 69.2 innings pitched. His last regular-season start earned him LSC Pitcher of the Week.

Sebek earns his second consecutive LSC All-Academic Team award, finishing the season as St. Edward's Emma Lou Linn Outstanding Scholar for posting the highest men's GPA among graduating seniors at St. Edward's. Sebek hit .286 with eight doubles, two triples, and three home runs, driving in 25 RBI and scoring 53 runs.

Little earns his first LSC All-Academic Team award, hitting .383 with eight doubles, one triple, and four home runs, driving in 66 RBI and scoring 31 runs.
